Entirely on your device. The App has no accounts and no cloud database. Use Settings → Backup to export an encrypted backup file (e.g. to your own iCloud Files) so your records survive a lost or replaced phone.
Tap a day in the calendar and choose the jurisdiction, or drag across a range of dates to mark a whole trip at once. A single date can count for more than one jurisdiction (for example, a travel day between two states) — the counters handle that correctly.
Each counter shows the days tracked against that jurisdiction's threshold (for example, 141 of 183 in the calendar year, or days within the rolling 180-day Schengen window). Tap a counter to see the exact methodology and rule version used. Counters track days — they do not determine residency status.
Yes — the photo import feature scans location metadata of photos you select, on your device, and suggests travel days for you to confirm. Photos never leave your device. Days without geotagged photos won't be detected, so review the suggestions.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions, or this link. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Preset rules are versioned summaries and can lag behind changes. Please email us — corrections ship in updates, and your reports always record which preset version was used.
